Biography :

Giorgia Gozzi is a PostDoc/ Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences/Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna and Postdoctoral Researcher in Food Microbiology since 2015 and adjunct professor for the course of General Microbiology at the University of Bologna from 2021. Her main research topics deal with i) gas plasma and electrolyzed water as alternatives to conventional and thermal treatments for food decontamination; ii) biotechnologies to improve food safety and shelf-life; iii) microbial metabolites for the food industry; iv) human metabolome in relation to diet
